Extractor is an optional LP360 module that was released with LP360 v.1.7. Extractor’s prerequisites are LP360 and Classify. The Extractor module provides additional Point Cloud Tasks allowing for the classification of LIDAR point clouds automatically as well as the extraction of features to vector GIS data sets based on specific classifications.
With Extractor, the executable Point Cloud Tasks are extended to include building point classification and building outline generation. These Point Cloud Tasks are included as operations available in the Point Cloud Task Preview window, but are only executable with an Extractor license.
